Swiming

Lifeguard Class

The Wayne Community Center, along with the American Red Cross, will be offering a Lifeguarding Class this February.  Upon successful completion, the participant will receive certifications in Lifeguarding/First Aid, CPR/AED for Lifeguards, Administering Emergency Oxygen, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training. The class will be held February 20-24, 2012 from 9:00am-3:00pm at the Wayne Community Center.  The cost is $195.00 and includes materials.  For additional information, please click on the flier below:

Events

Kid's Night Out - February 11, 2012 from 6:00pm-10:00pm. 

Want to have a night off and leave babysitting to us? On Saturday, February 11, 2012 from 6:00pm-10:00pm, children ages 6-11 are more than welcome to come join the Wayne Community Center for a night of fun! Activities include Ice Skating, Swimming, Snacks, and Open Gym. All participants must be registered by Friday, February 10, 2012. The cost is $13.00 for residents and $16.00 for non-residents.

Aquatic Field Trips

Great for schools, churches and daycares (for groups of 10 or more)!

Aquatic Area Birthday Parties

Parties available Friday, Saturday & Sunday and are held during Open Swim Sessions and in the Aquatic Viewing Area. These parties are not private.

   Package 1—up to 25 guests
   Package 2—26 to 50 guests
   Package 3—up to 70 guests
(packages are based on capacity and includes both swimming and non-swimming guests)

Packages include tables, chairs, balloons, a party gift for the Birthday Child and an Open Swim Pass for a future session for all the attending children. KidsZone access available for walking toddlers to age 9.
