June 9th - Kid's Night Out - "Summer Beach Bash!"(6:00pm-10:00pm)

Want to have a night off? Leave the babysittig to us! Children ages 6-11 can join us for a night of fun at the Wayne Communtiy Center! Activities include swimming, games, pizza, pop and going to Attwood Park!  Cost is $13.00 per child for Resident/Member; and $16.00 per child for non-residents.

H.Y.P.E. Athletics

H.Y.P.E. Athletics will be offering the following programs. Please register at hypeathletics.org or call (313) 357-5458. H.Y.P.E. Athletics is located at 23302 W. Warren Ave., Dearborn Heights, MI 48127.

Elite Baseball Training Camp
Camp instructors have over 25 years of combined playing, training, and coaching experience in professional and collegiate baseball. The H.Y.P.E. staff will demonstrate the fundamentals of baseball and athletic development. Our goal is to improve the overall skill and knowledge of the sport. Every participant will receive a drink and snack daily. Participants will have a pizza party upon completion of the training camp.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Friday, June 16th!

Elite Football Training Camp
Top instructional staff will coach offensive and defensive drills, running form, flexibility, motivational speeches and nutritional and diet guidance to keep participants at their peak. Special guest speakers will include University of Michigan and Michigan State football players, along with players from colleges across the state. This will be a no contact camp. Every participant will receive a drink and snack daily. REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Friday, July 7th!

June 2nd Rouge River Day

Join Rouge activist, Kurt Kuban, and volunteers from throughout the community as we work together to improve the Rouge River and its surroundings. This is a free, family-friendly event. Get to Know Your Wild Neighbors!

We are encouraging children and youth to visit their local parks and using subjects they find in nature, to draw a picture, take a photo, make a video, write a post, or even compose some music and enter the "Get to Know Your Wild Neighbor" contest. Bring your entry to the City of Wayne Community Center now until July 16th.  All entries will receive a free open swim pass!!  For more information on this project, visit http://www.get-to-know.org
