It's great to have you visit with us via our newly revised website. I am pleased to welcome you to our City as well as talk with you in a multiplicty of languages via our website!
Wonderful things are happening in Wayne. The first phase of our Streetscape Project has been completed. Our downtown area now has an atmosphere of small town charm and friendliness. The Fire Department recently earned their Advanced Life Support credentials. This means they
can now perform more advanced medical procedures at the scene of an emergency. The newly remodeled Community Center celebrated it's 25th anniversary with a reunion and star-studded ice show. All of these developments are part of the City's overall commitment to continue to bring our residents and business owners the best services available.
Finally, it's through our parks that we have expressed a heartfelt tradition of abundance, fun and happy memories. Each of our City's 18 parks are a source of community pride. They serve as year-round locations of outstanding activities, such as concerts, summer playground programs, annual fireworks shows, the Great Marshmallow Drop and the Leonard Anderson Softball Tournament.
